The objective of the YCEC is to develop an informal communication network amongst young future executives (under 35 years) in order to:
- Promote network relationships within the construction industry
- Develop a forum to establish industry contacts and leads
- Provide information on industry activities and opportunities that will enhance and profit the individual and their respective company.
- Provide an opportunity for members to invest in their employees' development as the next generation of construction executives.
- Leadership development

- Special Project by YCEC volunteers to give back to the community

- Working Weekends
Leadership Development:
- Through courses and seminars in areas such as: ethics, leadership styles, presentation techniques, time management
- Associated General Contractor's Young Constructors Forum Working Weekends.
