MANAGED ASSOCIATIONS

Toronto Construction Association has over 50 years of experience in providing professional administration services to construction-related associations. Under our wing, you are associated with an organization that is a leader in the construction industry, one that is well respected and of the highest integrity. Your association with us gives your organization and its member companies increased credibility and image.

INCREASED VISIBILITY
Your Association name will be highlighted in the ‘TCA Membership Directory and Buyers Guide’ and on any promotional pieces at trade shows. As well, your Association name will appear in the ‘TC News’ magazine and ‘The Inside Corner’ newsletter, from time to time.

MONETARY SAVINGS
Entire groups joining TCA will be afforded a substantial reduction on TCA membership fees, as well as, a number of discount programs - a real savings for your members.

By yearly contract, TCA manages the day-to-day operations of a number of smaller construction-related associations and groups. Contracts vary due to the requirements set out by each association and group and it is the responsibility of the holder of this position to be aware of the content and requirements set forth in the administrative contract or agreements signed by each of these groups.

An Association Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and affairs of the following groups:

  • AWMAC Ontario Chapter www.awmacontario.com
  • Concrete Floor Contractors Association of Ontario www.cfcao.com and www.concretefloors.ca 
  • Concrete Forming Association of Ontario
  • Crane Rental Association of Ontario
  • EIFS Council of Canada www.eifscouncil.org
  • Environmental Abatement Council of Ontario www.eacoontario.com
  • Metropolitan Plumbing and Heating Contractors Association
  • Reinforcing Steel Institute of Ontario (RSIO) - www.rebar.org
  • Resilient Flooring Contractors Association of Ontario
  • Sealant and Waterproofing Association www.swao.com

These groups range in size of membership from 10 to 50 companies and conduct their meetings four to twelve times annually, depending on their requirements. The impressive facilities at Construction Centre offer these Associations increased credibility within the construction community, as well as, the general public.

Specific duties include: 

  • All secretarial services
  • Administrative participation and secretarial backup when required, in relation to labour relations matters and activities
  • Arrangements for annual meetings, social and education events, preparation and distribution of follow-up publicity
  • Day-to-day phone calls and correspondence, enquiries, public relations in the best interests of each association or group being represented
  • Confidentiality in respect to the operation of each association or group being represented
